AdultFriendFinder Sex and Swingers Comunity

Adultfriendfinder was the first website I ever signed up for. They have been around since 1996 and are currently the biggest Ault Personals website with almost 18 million members.

  • Current Members:21 000 000
  • Online Since:Early 1996
  • Female/Male Ratio:35% (Estimate)
  • Features:
  • Navigation:
  • Effectiveness:
  • Customer Support:

The adultfriendfinder home page is very easy to navigate. In the middle of the page you can see all the members that are online, and view latest added photos as well as videos. On the left side you'll see a summary of your inbox which immediately gives you an overview of all your new messages, winks and points.

AdultFrienFinder's Gold Membership starts at $44,95 for the first month and $37,95 for every recurring month. When you compare this to the lower prices SexSearch enforces I feel AdultFriendfinder is a bit overpriced. Anyway, for this membership you'll get;

  • 5 times more views
  • Super search
  • See ICQ, AIM, YIM and MSN Info of members
  • Faster Profile and photo reviews
  • Receive e-mails of new matching members
  • Within 12 hours technical support
  • e-mails viewable for 120 days

Besides their gold membership, adultfriendfinder allows you to enhance your profile. You can make your profile visible to all levels of members for $19,90 a month which is a dramatic boost for female responses. In addition to that you can pay for a highlighted position in the search results, so you get more responses. In my opinion, both enhancements are impressive, but overpriced..

In order to run a successful adult dating site, you have to have a fair men / women ratio. Since I live in California, I checked the listings for California; California has 790.596 men seeking women for sex and 59.560 women seeking men for sex. This means that 12 out of 13 members are men and 1 out of 13 is a woman. Compared to the 50/50 percentage of SexSearch, this is a big difference.

Since the last couple of years, AdultFriendfinder has invested a lot in their communities, they expanded their core site with a discussion forum, groups, and chat rooms. Personally, I love the idea of the whole community driven adult personals site, but I have the feeling it takes away some of the effectiveness of the site.

Overall I like AdultFriendFinder. I like the features of their site and I like that they offer their services in more languages then English. However, if you are based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canda, or Australia I would definitely recommend SexSearch, if you are from another European country such as France or Germany AdultFriendFinder is a great alternative.
